The Best Apps for Any Boss Babe

Being a Boss Babe is a multi-tasking juggling act, that most people don’t ever see! We work all hours of the day and night, round the clock, so we can pursue our dreams! Using apps to advance our process and help curate the right vibes and balance is key to greater success! This week, we’ve curated a list of our favorite must-have apps for any Boss Babe entrepreneur. Whether you are tech savvy or not, these apps will save you time and energy! Most of these apps are free or charge a monthly subscriptions for upgrades.

Google Calendar is the best way to plug in your every move. Keep track of your busy day with bright colors and

Pro: Share Google Calendar and keep track of meetings, appointments, birthdays, and other events. Create multiple calendars and share none, some, or all of them.

Con: It can not be integrated with multiple accounts.

Edit content on the go with Grammarly. This free app allows you to spell check and check the tone of your writing. Need to write an email reply to your boss, but don’t want to sound too informal or negative? This app is perfect for you! Download to your phone or desktop and get it right the first time around.

Pro: Real-time grammar correcting, highly accurate, easy to understand explanations. Grammarly even checks your tone, just in case you don’t wanna come across as hostile.

Con: Its free version is very limited

Send the most curated emails and build that list with Mailchimp. With amazing templates that are easy to use, update your clients with emails that represent your brand and style. Our favorite feature is knowing the best times to hit send. Mailchimp helps you understand when your community is most likely to open and engage.

Pro: The interface is simple and customizable, it's free for up to 2,000 contacts and the analytics are very detailed!

Con: Updating customer lists is not automated, which can be annoying to manually review and update each list.

Google Assistant is an amazing tool to use to wake up. Set alarms, curate your routine, get bite size news cycles and even meditate. Set actions for for bedtime and if you’re fancy have this assistant turn down the lights for chill vibes with some music.

Pro: Curate how you wake up! Find information online, from restaurant bookings to directions, weather and news.

Con: Doesn’t work without the net. Stores sensitive data.

Trello is a great tools for staying organized and keeping all your big ideas in one area! This checklist based app has a ton of templates and ideal for teams, delegating work and managing multiple projects at once.

Pro:  Works in real-time. Members can work on the projects without causing any disruption to the updates.

Con: Has limited storage.

OneNote is more like Microsoft Word with cooler functions. Add a checklist to your blank canvas, or some images with its free forming design.

Pro: If you’re a Microsoft user, OneNote is more comprehensive than Trello! Less structure and more freedom.

Con: The ability to search through notes is limited.

Anchor is your seamless bff for all things podcasts! Whether you’re a beginner (like us) or seasoned, this app is equip with recording abilities, editing and launching to all streaming sites when you’re ready to go!

Pro: Distributes to many podcast platforms, so you only upload once! Also very user friendly and quite easy to navigate with sponsorship opportunities.

Con: Because it’s free, you have very limited control over your content.

Canva is THE number one branding tool you will find out there! Create beautiful designs for IG, IG Stories, Facebook, etc from scratch using your exact brand colours, font and vibe. We love this one!

Pro: It’s Free! But the Pro version is so worth even penny!

Con: Limited templates and not the best stock photos!

Lightroom is for people with a little more camera editing experience if you want to utilize what it has to offer. For the more simpler editor, this app is perfect for presets (there are so many on Etsy) and adjusting brightness/filters.

Pro:

Presets! These make it easy to color correct your feed to match your branding.

Con:

No layers or blend modes, opt in for Photoshop if you require that function.

Getting clear and staying focused is easier said than done. We all get distracted, our devices and apps are designed to keep us engaged with them. Headspace is a great way to unplug and

Pro: Perfect for beginners and very easy to use!

For all my menstruating humans, this app is life! Literally. Track every part of your cycle (not just when you’re bleeding) and sync with your hormones. Get clear on what to eat, what to avoid and how to maximize your different phases every month.

Pro: MyFlo sends email alerts to your partner to let them know how to be a better partner and support you during each phase. Your hormones affect them too.

Con: MyFlo is $1.99, with no free trial. But it is totally worth it.

Take a mid-day break or mini staycation right in your neighborhood with AllTrails! Get the family together for a hike or bike ride or create a solo oasis to make space for the new!

Meeting up is a little tricky today, but still totally doable! Finding networks and niche groups on Meetup is very easy and exciting! There is literally a space for everyone! Find groups for hiking, working out, eating out, knitting, you name it, it’s there!

Pro: Find groups local to you and while you venture out to other states/countries (when we can do that again).

Con: Some groups are private/closed and require you to fill out a form to be suggested as a member.
