Brazilian Sugaring vs. Brazilian Waxing

My First Brazilian Wax Experience.jpeg

So maybe you’ve upgraded your hair removal routine from shaving to waxing and now you don’t know what all the fuzz about sugaring is about?

The first thing you'll notice about sugaring is the paste. It's made out of three ingredients: sugar, lemon, and water. It is never hot, only room temperature and unlike waxing that is applied in the same direction of your hair and pulled in the opposite (ouch!) sugaring is the opposite. Because of this technique (that's been around long before we were around), your hair is picked up easier by the paste and removed with little to no friction. We vouch for less ingrown hairs because we believe that sugaring over time, will prevent them and give your skin the love it deserves.  Sugaring dates back to the 1900s and originally began with honey, today the paste has been modified and perfected (and did we mention organic). The sugar paste only sticks to dead skin cells, not live ones. That redness and irritation you usually have with waxing is much less and leads to less breakage.  The thing is we aren't here to tell you how being "smooth is better", or how hair removal will make you feel beautiful because you're already beautiful. Hairy or not, your body hair does not define you. We care about your skin, so if you're going to remove it, make sugaring your bff.
